How to download FIR copy online from State Police Website 

The move comes following a direction by the Delhi high court on December 6th, 2010. It said an indicted is entitled to get a dupe of the FIR within 24 hours of its enrolment . The court had said the FIRs should be uploaded online within 24 hours of its enrolment though it exempted the force from making public FIRs on sensitive issues.

• Visit the State Police Station website
• Find the FIR runner
• Enter FIR no, Police Station name, and any other detail
• Search and download the dupe of FIR when it appears in the result

For a proper hunt, a Fir number is necessary. However, you can get a dupe from the Police Station itself, If you're the person who filed an FIR. However, you'll need the FIR number; Police Station details to download the FIR dupe online for yourself, If not.

Some FIRs are also made public. still, you still need to know a lot of details.

• District, Police Station, and Year (mandatory fields)
• Date range (i.e., enter FIR DATE FROM and TO fields)
• Name of one of the Accused, Complainant, or Victim.
• You can enter partial names also
• Click on Search Button to proceed
